$59M Victoria Falls Hotel Construction by ZimRe Holdings to Boost Tourism Leverage

ZimRe Holdings intends to build a new US$59 million hotel in Victoria Falls, as part of an US$80 million property investment, aiming to increase hospitality capacity. This investment focuses on the tourism sector, using Victoria Falls' appeal to potentially increase arrivals and stimulate local economic activity. While job creation and economic benefits are anticipated, concerns exist about market saturation and dependence on tourism recovery. The project aims to strengthen Zimbabwe's position and leverage in the tourism market, potentially creating jobs and boosting demand for local goods and services.
