Byo drug deal eases clinic shortages

Bulawayo City Council partnered with NatPharm to supply essential medicines to 21 municipal clinics, tackling drug shortages. Daily News reported the deal aims to ease chronic shortages that have plagued clinics. The friction: the partnership is a stopgap measure, as the city's health budget remains underfunded. The core vulnerability: reliance on a single state supplier may not ensure long-term sustainability, especially if NatPharm faces its own supply chain disruptions or funding constraints.
