IDBZ Disburses US$2.4m to Projects

The Infrastructure Development Bank of Zimbabwe disbursed US$2.4 million to productive and infrastructure projects in the first half of 2026, as reported by the Daily News. The funds target agriculture, energy, and transport sectors. While the injection supports economic recovery, the amount is a fraction of the capital needed to address Zimbabwe's infrastructure deficit, which continues to hamper growth and deter private investment. This modest funding highlights the massive gap between Zimbabwe's infrastructure needs and available resources.
