Solusi Winter School Graduates 45 in Kariba, Shava Hails Community Model

Solusi University's Winter School graduated 45 students in Kariba, with Minister Shava hailing the community education model, NewsDay reported. The program, supported by local partners, aims to expand access to higher learning in remote areas. The graduation ceremony recognized the efforts of Pastor Ketani and the Kariba District team, along with lecturers and sponsors. The Winter School is part of a broader push to decentralize education and reach underserved communities. The initiative highlights the potential of community-based education to bridge gaps in access and empower local populations. However, sustaining such programs will require consistent funding, government support, and partnerships to scale beyond pilot phases and achieve lasting impact. The model could be replicated in other provinces.
