Zimbabwe Commissions $1.5 Million Lithium Rail Siding to Boost Exports

Zimbabwe commissioned a US$1.5 million lithium transshipment rail siding in West Nicholson, Matabeleland South, which has already handled its first shipment of lithium concentrate from Gwanda to the Port of Maputo. The new facility strengthens mineral export infrastructure by adding a dedicated rail node. This tactical infrastructure play directly challenges the inefficiencies of road haulage.
