Zimbabwe Expects Nearly a Million Tonnes in Grain Surplus

Zimbabwe expects to build strategic grain reserves of up to 964,945 tonnes after a strong agricultural season. Agriculture Minister Anxious Masuka presented the 2025/26 Summer Crops Marketing and 2026 Winter Production Plan. The surplus provides a buffer against future food shortages. This reserve could help stabilize food prices and reduce reliance on imports.
