Zimbabwe Trials Diesel-Ethanol Blending to Mitigate High Fuel Costs

Zimbabwe has initiated trials for blending diesel with ethanol to counter persistently high fuel costs. Green Fuel Zimbabwe is conducting research to assess compatibility and viability. This initiative aims to reduce reliance on imported fuel and potentially lower pump prices, offering much-needed relief to consumers grappling with fuel costs disproportionately higher than in neighboring countries. If successful, this could lead to savings on fuel costs for consumers and businesses, directly impacting household budgets and operational expenses.
