Zimra Deploys Digital Dragnet to Plug E-Commerce and Fuel Tax Leakages

The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority is developing systems to monitor e-commerce transactions and strengthen real-time fuel tracking to plug revenue leakages and curb tax evasion, the Financial Gazette reported. Speaking at the ICAZ Winter School in Victoria Falls, Zimra regional manager Gamuchirai Makwangudze said the tax authority is moving to capture the growing digital economy.
