2035 Ambition
President Emmerson Mnangagwa raised fresh questions over his political ambitions by jokingly suggesting he expects to remain president beyond 2035, according to Tinashe Sambiri. The suggestion, made during a public event, has been widely interpreted as a serious ambition.
