A Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) general hand has been sentenced to an effective 36-month prison term for stealing US$1,500 from his workplace. Petsi Napwaro admitted to breaking into an office and taking the cash, which he subsequently lost on an online betting game known as Aviator. The incident occurred amidst the RBZ's efforts to manage foreign currency inflows and economic stability.
