Police Seize Eighty Million ZiG In Operation

Law enforcement agencies intensified their campaign against drug abuse, resulting in the seizure of substances valued at 80 million ZiG. Nearly 3,000 suspects have been arrested, with 381 individuals already convicted for offenses involving crystal meth, dagga, and unregistered medicines. Police uncovered an underground bunker used for storing illicit drugs during a raid in Harare’s Mbare suburb. The Zimbabwe Republic Police released the names of 55 convicted offenders to deter further criminal activity.
