Parent Sues ZIMSEC Over Subject Limit

A Zimbabwean parent has sued the Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) and other education authorities, challenging the policy that limits Ordinary Level learners to a maximum of nine subjects. Walter Mutowo lodged the application in the High Court this Wednesday in his own name and on behalf of his son. The court application comes after his son was ordered to drop three subjects he had already paid for at Mutare Boys High School.
