Direct flights to London resume by late July
The government confirmed that Air Zimbabwe will resume direct flights between Harare and London by the end of July. The relaunch experienced delays due to regulatory approval and licensing processes managed by United Kingdom aviation authorities. The service marks the national carrier's return to the route after a fourteen-year absence. Tourism operators welcomed the announcement, stating that direct connectivity will increase international visitor arrivals. The airline must now maintain strict operational compliance to retain its newly acquired international landing rights.
