ZESA restores national power grid after total blackout

ZESA Holdings stabilized the national power grid following a total blackout that plunged the country into darkness on Monday evening. The utility restored electricity supplies by securing imports from Eskom and Hydro Cabora Bassa alongside local generation units. However, business groups warned that frequent grid instability severely disrupts industrial operations and increases manufacturing costs.
