Chamisa denies accepting Zanu PF bribery money

Former Citizens Coalition for Change leader Nelson Chamisa denied allegations that he accepted money from Zanu PF to silence him on the controversial Constitutional Amendment Bill. The bill, recently signed into law, postpones elections and centralizes amendment powers. Chamisa argued his record of resistance against the ruling party speaks for itself. The denial follows speculation that opposition figures received payments in exchange for muted criticism of the constitutional changes. Chamisa stated he has never accepted a cent from Zanu PF.
