6 die in Tynwald Flyover kombi crash

Six people died when a commuter omnibus veered off the Harare-Bulawayo Road and plunged into a water-filled gully near the Tynwald Flyover and Harare Drive junction late Wednesday night. The crash occurred at around 10pm at the nine-kilometre peg. Six other people suffered injuries in the crash, police confirmed. The Zimbabwe Republic Police said investigations are ongoing. The crash is the latest in a series of fatal accidents on the country's roads and occurred on the Harare-Bulawayo Road, a major highway. The police have not released the identities of the victims.
