Court halts ZCDC debt execution

The Constitutional Court halted the execution of the Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company's US$18 million debt. The court granted an interdict preventing creditors from seizing assets until it hears the main application. The diamond miner owes creditors US$18 million, according to court documents. Creditors have demanded payment since 2023. The ruling provides temporary relief for ZCDC but does not resolve the underlying debt dispute.
