Thousands return from South Africa

Thousands of Zimbabweans have returned from South Africa since the government began its repatriation and reintegration programme on 28 May 2026. The number of people leaving the neighbouring country continues to rise after recent anti-immigrant tensions. The latest figures were presented to Cabinet by the Local Government minister.
