CBZ commits US$100m for Harare-Chirundu highway
CBZ Bank has committed US$100 million towards the rehabilitation and upgrade of the strategic Harare-Chirundu Highway. The project aims to accelerate infrastructure development along one of Zimbabwe's key trade corridors. The bank is also mobilising US$600 million for broader road and water infrastructure projects. The highway connects Zimbabwe to Zambia and the wider Southern African Development Community (SADC) region. The investment targets a critical trade artery that currently suffers from poor road conditions and delays.
